Terms of Service
1. Parties and Subject of the Agreement
1.1. This document (hereinafter referred to as the ToS) governs the use of the web application and
standalone utility DEUTLI Extractor (hereinafter referred to as the Product).
1.2. The Product is provided by the DEUTLI project (Switzerland).
1.3. Launching the Product, granting it access to the local file system, or installing it as a PWA
constitutes the user's full and unconditional agreement to this ToS.
2. Privacy and Architecture (Zero-Server Policy)
2.1. The Product is a fully autonomous, local tool (100% Local).
2.2. DEUTLI does not have access to your files, extracted metadata, image content, or local directory
structure.

3.1. The Product is designed to extract data without modifying the original binary files. Generated
metadata is saved as separate text files (Sidecar files in the .deut format).

relocation, or accidental corruption of files during interaction with directories is the sole
responsibility of the user.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties (As Is)
4.1. The Product is provided on an "As Is" basis, without any express or implied warranties, including,
but not limited to, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
4.2. DEUTLI does not warrant that the Product will operate absolutely error-free, or that the extraction
algorithms will be able to correctly process 100% of non-standard graphs and metadata generated by
third-party software.
5. License and Open Source
5.1. The source code of the parser and the Product's interface is open-source and provided under the MIT
License. The rights to use, copy, and modify the code are governed by the text of this license.
5.2. The DEUTLI trademark and elements of the design system (Brand Identity System) are the intellectual
property of the project and do not fall under the open-source license.
6. Governing Law
6.1. This ToS, as well as any disputes or disagreements arising in connection with the use of the
Product, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive law of Switzerland.
